The LeadingAge Florida team has once again outdone themselves to create a convention experience that is second to none and combines high-level learning with opportunities for networking and fun. You can expect even more wonderful surprises as we celebrate our Diamond Anniversary!
The theme for this year’s convention is EVOLVE. What a fitting description as we look back over 60 years of change for both the association and the field. Evolution speaks to adapting to the changes presented by the environment around us. We see it in our regulatory landscape, in the staffing environment and in the generation of older adults we serve. That evolution must continue as we adapt to address new and more complex challenges.
There is a danger, though, in passively accepting evolution or in trying to stand alone. It is critical that we gather to share solutions to the business challenges we face and identify regulatory action the LeadingAge Florida team can take on our behalf. As we grow and adapt, we must work together to ensure the highest quality care and services for those we serve.
