Job Description
The Human Resource coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations human resource department.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (Monday – Thursday are onsite and Fridays are remote).

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Responsibilities:
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department.
- May assist with payroll functions including, answering employee questions, fixing errors, and entering new employees into ADP.
- Assists with end of the year projects and open enrollment.
- Respond to employment verification.
- Assists with planning and execution of the monthly employee engagement calendar.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- General knowledge of employment law and best practices Preferred Experience:
- 1+ years in HR preferred.
